(If you like this picture you can COMMISSION ME!)
Full Color comic commission for Justin of himself and his Pokemon team comprised of Charizard, Sceptile, Lucario, Feraligatr, Luxray and Glaceon. He also has Mew as a companion Pokemon. (Not often I get a random, offsite commission, but they do happen and I really enjoy drawing them.)
What I like about doing Pokemon teams is the notion of personalities. The three that I have done as either requests or commissions all had a little bit of personality when it came to the Pokemon involved. It really helps me in terms of direction, which is how we get the calm with half of the group, and the quickly mounting chaos of the three starters. Other than personalities (which was something I asked of), the client specified something snowy. Me, I was not going to pass up on my favorite type of Vancouver inspired mountain scape; a bit of tranquility to balance out the potential disaster.
As for the actual drawing, four of these Pokemon I have never drawn at all. I could not believe how long I took on Feraligatr's head alone, mostly because there aren't a lot of shots with its head straight on this particular angle. Kind of pitiful to admit that I actually struggle at drawing specific Pokemon and needed to reference, but that is what referencing is for.

Sorry about that. Hate this reply system in here.
The most recent one with both of them in it is this http://vaporeon249.deviantart.com/a.....29%29&qo=3 but I don't draw nearly as much Mew as I thought I did.
